Unzip into a directory where you can easily find them.
Place the gold fill in your PSP Patterns folder.

Graphic of your choice.


LET'S GET STARTED

1. File, New and create a transparent image 400 px width x 450 px height, 16.7 million colours.

2. Floodfill with black. Rename it background in the layer pallet.  Note you can change the color at a later stage if you wish.

3. Open Window Frame (ddd)  in PSP.

4. Add a new raster layer and name it gold. 

5. In the color pallet, with the foreground set to pattern floodfill with the gold fill. Scale 100 Angle 0.

6. Masks, New from Image and select the WindowFrame (ddd) which you opened earlier.  Source luminance and invert mask data checked.    Click ok.

7.  Masks, Delete, Answer yes when asked if you wish to merge with the current layer.

9.  Add a new raster layer and name it curtain.  

10. Open the window curtain tile in PSP.   In the color pallet, with the foreground set to pattern, floodfill with the mauve window curtain tile (or whatever colour and pattern you choose).. Scale 100 Angle 0.

11.   Selections, Load from Disk, and find where you saved the selection files, choose the Windows Outside (ddd) and hit delete.  Selections, select none.

12.  Selections, Load from Disk, and find where you saved the selection files, choose the Windows Inside (ddd) and hit delete.,  Selections, select none.

13.  Drag the curtain layer beneath the gold layer in the Layer Palette and you should now see the gold on top of your curtain.

 

 

14.  Add a new Raster Layer and name it picture.  

15.  Selections, Load from Disk, and find where you saved the selection files, choose Windows Inside (ddd).

16.  Open the image you are going to use in PSP, Edit, Copy, then select your window and Edit, Paste into selection.

17.  Add a new Raster Layer and name it cutout1. Effects, 3D Effects, Cutout, with the following settings:

18.   Add a new Raster Layer and name it cutout 2.  Repeat the cutout with -4 (minus four) Vertical and Horizontal offset..

19.  Selections, select none.

You have two choices here:

Choice 1:
19.  Leave the background colour black or change it to suit.
20.  Layers, Merge, Merge All (Flatten).
21.  Effects, Sharpen, Sharpen.
22.  Save as a jpg.

Choice 2:
19.  On the Layer Palette delete the background layer.
20.  Layers, Merge, Merge (Visible).
21.  Effects, Sharpen, Sharpen.
22.  Save as a transparent gif.

You have finished.
